About InterTalk

What is InterTalk?

　InterTalk is a core module for development of dialogue systems. This module was developed by Inter Robot Inc.

InterTalk includes four kind of function as shown below, and all the functions can be controlled and managed in an integrated fashion.

1.Control of robots and CG characters (using iRT)

2.Collaborative interaction and integration with WEB contents. Browser function.

3.Embedding and collaborating Human Interface(HI) Technology developed by other companies (voice recognition, voice synthesis and artificial intelligence)

4.Interaction and control of various hardware(printer, IC card reader,etc)

About browser function

　InterTalk is optimized for use in touch-panel display and touch-panel terminals and enables flexible interface design, view design and operability.

About interface

　Inter-Talk can be interlocked with CG characters and robots which are activated by iRT-our proprietary technology. In addition, Inter-Talk can be easily connected to other equipment such as bar-code readers and printers. Various applications are actually already in place.

About voice interaction

　Interconnection with such technologies as voice synthesis, recorded voice and voice recognition is also available. This interconnection increases attractiveness of robots and CG characters.

　Shown above is a system where Touch-panel terminal is equipped with Inter-Talk and interconnected with robot, voice synthesis and voice recognition , activated by iRT.

　Combination as shown above can create attractive systems. For instance, there may be a system where product data are read in by bar-code reader and CG character makes explanation in accordance with the read-in contents. There may be another system where the contents are simply expressed in synthesized voice without robot or CG participation and they come out from a printer. By using Inter-Talk as the basic technology, you can develop various systems optimized to your needs in a short time and with minimum cost.

　In addition, if the environment permits use of internet, a human-support can be easily added to Kiosk Terminal by using AERU Kiosk which is our company’s system for a kiosk terminal and a touch-panel terminal.

Furthermore, wide variety of other services are possible, including remote control of the robot and printing out hard copies, through combined use of AERU Kiosk with configurations as illustrated above.
